Tyler Wackman, Founder & President

Tyler is the founder and president of Kennedy Creek Capital Partners (KCCP), a family-owned investment firm focused on equity investments in smaller, private companies in the United States. Prior to founding KCCP, Tyler served as the chief executive officer of SYNEO, a role which he held from August 2017 to July 2021. Under Mr. Wackman’s leadership, SYNEO, a provider of precision tooling and automation solutions for medical device and electronics manufacturing, grew revenue and EBITDA substantially. Tyler led growth initiatives focused on tech-enabled manufacturing enhancements, new product introductions, recurring revenue enhancements, and international expansion, ultimately leading to a successful sale of SYNEO to a middle market private equity sponsor in September 2020.


Prior to SYNEO, Tyler spent seven years of his career in lower middle market private equity and private debt investing. Throughout his career, Tyler has been involved in the execution of five platform investments and five follow-on investments for various portfolio companies resulting in over $180 million of invested capital. Tyler has served on the board of directors of 10 companies across a wide array of industries including Niche Manufacturing, Medical Device, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas and Retail.


Tyler received a BBA in Accounting and Finance in 2008 from Texas Christian University. Tyler lives in Tequesta, FL with his wife and their three children.
